Efficient catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol by Cu1.96S/NSC hybrid material derived from metal-organic framework

Designing carbon-based non-precious metal hybrid materials to replace precious catalysts solve environmental pollution problems is a hot topic of research at this stage. In work, dual ligand Cu-MOF was synthesized by the solvothermal method and using as sacrificial template further vulcanized obtain Cu 1.96 S/NSC material. The morphology composition material were investigated scanning electron microscope (SEM), high-resolution transmission (HRTEM), x-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption-desorption, photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) in detail. has excellent catalytic activity reduction 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) 4-aminophenol (4-AP) showing reaction rate constant k=0.0242 s -1 , which can reach nearly 100% conversion 3 min. Finally, mechanism material’s efficient 4-NP deeply explored.
